Fundraiser Spotlight: Brother and sister to take on London Landmarks Half

Georgie and Tom Holden, are taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2023 to give back to St George’s after Tom received treatment here.

Tom spent five months at St George’s Hospital in 2017, after he was involved in a serious road traffic accident whilst cycling back from the library at Loughborough University.

Dr Colette Griffin, clinical lead for traumatic brain injury at St George’s Hospital, Tooting, was Rosie’s consultant neurologist.

“We are all delighted to see the incredible improvement Rosie has made,” she said. “Her injuries were very severe indeed, and at every stage in her recovery she has impressed us with the speed of her recovery.

“The recovery that is possible with traumatic brain injury patients never ceases to amaze me.”
